Video game views rise due to COVID-19, U.S.home console ownership up 31%

Online video gaming views have climbed during the COVID-19 pandemic since March in the same period sports online views have slowed, according to research from Comscore. In May, gaming views rose to 11 billion from 9.5 billion in early March when the pandemic took hold in the U.S whilst Sports views fell to 7.2 billion from 9 billion over that same time period.

TAG and JICWEBS announce merger of digital ad industry’s leading anti-fraud and brand safety standards organisations

The digital advertising industry’s two leading anti-fraud and brand safety organisations, the Trustworthy Accountability Group (TAG) and Joint Industry Committee for Web Standards (JICWEBS), last week announced an agreement to merge creating a new joint standard for the advertising industry.
