Amazon announces Luna, a new cloud-gaming service

In Amazon’s annual hardware event, the tech giant announced the launch of their cloud-gaming service, Luna. Previously under the codename, Project Tempo, the service offers an all-inclusive subscription model where users can access its library for 100+ games at 4k/60fps. Titles that are available to play at launch include Control, GRID and Resident Evil, with Amazon promising more to come.

A virtual K-pop group who exist as video game avatars reaches No.1 in the US

League of Legend’s virtual K-Pop girl group, K/DA released a new single ‘the Baddest’ that’s topped the US Billboard charts for two consecutive weeks. This isn’t the first time the virtual group’s experienced success however. In 2018, the band released their first single ‘Pop/Star’ which was number one in the Digital Songs Billboard charts.

Microsoft’s new Xbox app will let you stream Xbox One games to your iPhone

Microsoft are set to release a big update on the Xbox app for iOS that includes the ability to stream Xbox One games to an iPhone. A new Xbox app will arrive in the App Store soon that includes a remote play feature, which lets Xbox One console owners stream their games to an iPhone. You will be able to access an Xbox console over Wi-Fi, or even an LTE or 5G connection, too.
