Bidstack has developed its own proprietary technologies to be able to provide live, targeted and automated native in-game advertising for the global gaming industry across multiple platforms (mobile, PC and console). Bidstack’s growing customer base includes publishers, developers, advertising agencies, brands and programmatic advertising platforms. We are a recognized member of the IAB at the forefront of technological change in this sector.

Bidstack’s success now means we are looking for multiple Sales Directors to join our rapidly growing US team. This role will be home based in Chicago with occasional travel required for client meetings and events and will report into the regional VP.

Sales Director in Chicago, IL

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to)

  • Our Sales Directors are responsible for cultivating excellent relationships with our clients (both agency and brand direct) to educate and grow knowledge and experience in the in-game space
  • Be responsible for the full sales cycle, including prospecting, qualifying opportunities, developing contacts, pricing proposals, negotiations, and closing deals
  • Represent Bidstack at industry events and functions-working closely to educate the market on the in-game space and Bidstack’s position in the emerging media
  • Work closely with both domestic and global internal teams such as account management, planning, marketing and publishing to assure that all client needs are met and all campaigns are executed and delivered properly


  • 3-5 years of direct media sales experience is a must, 5+ years is preferred
  • 5+ years of digital / mobile media experience
  • Strong connections with both agency and brand direct clients and proven experience for growing a pipeline / successful book of business in the designated region
  • A strong understanding of the mobile and gaming landscape. Experience in gaming and/or is a gamer is a plus!
  • Knowledge of the programmatic industry and experience bringing immersive, interactive custom experiences to activation is strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and independent work ethic, while this person will be a part of our growing sales team, they will be responsible for their own revenue goals and pipeline
  • Excellent communication skills – both for client outreach/education and for internal organization
  • Ability to work closely with an internal “pod” comprised of a sales planner and account manager to assure that all tasks are accomplished to the best of the team’s ability, all action items are prioritized appropriately, deadlines are met and goals are exceeded
